To be invested as a member, a New Chum (Cubs) or Recruit (Scouts) needs to complete the requirements for the Membership Badge for Cubs or Scouts.
It’s usual for Cubs and Scouts to attend 3-4 meetings before deciding to join. During this time they also work on membership.
The adult Scouters will work through it with them, but parents can help them practise the Cub/Scout Salute, Promise and Law at home.
